Mother's Day project
This year Mums will get something special.:).
We prepared picture frames for them. Kids stuck the pieces of newspapers on the paper frames. Then they decorated the frames with felt hearts, string, beads etc. Each of my kids had a photo with a big red paper heart. I turned the photos to black and white, while keeping hearts red. I can't show ready frames (with photos of my kids) but believe me, the effect was very interesting:)

OVER IN THE MEADOW
We started from drawing grass, flowers and insects. We used oil pastels. I encouraged kids to draw separate stalks rather than grass as a one piece. Then I mixed some ink and water, children painted with large brushes. Then put some drops of ink on still very wet works. Children were surprised by the effect of spreading drops of ink.

Topiaries
The idea comes from
paintedpaperintheartroom.
Designing the pots was the most attractive part of the project for my kids. Most children painted the plant pots using not paint brushes but fingers.
The flowers were made of tissue paper

RoboCats
It was a really difficult project, esspecially for 3 and 4 years-olds.
Now I know it's rather for school kids than those from kindergarten.
My little artists had some problems with sticking things-
they were not enough patient and precise... Some of them were crying: "I can't stick the nose [whiskers/eyes/ etc.] It's stupid".
I won't try this project with such small kids again :(

Colourful Dragons
Our new project was inspired by the chalk drawings on Deep Space Sparkle.
Thanks for the wonderful idea!
I really like drawing on black background. You can get beautiful bright colours.
After the classes I couldn't take my eyes from the dragons- so colourful, cute, funny and scary...Each dragon is unique, each is a little masterpiece:)

My tree
We stuck some pieces of blue tissue paper and used some blue paint- as you can see, the effect is really interesting. My Little Artists loved the way we got the shapes of the trees- squeezing brown paint out of the bottles was great fun for children:)
